WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES
A spoken ramble like “send James the proposal tomorrow morning, make that urgent, and check the invoice Monday” can become separate actionable items. You can correct yourself as you talk. It is designed to capture tasks, rather than act as a general chatbot.
HOW TO TRY IT
Open Todoist and use the waveform control in Quick Add, allow microphone access and speak naturally. Review names, dates and priority labels before saving. On supported desktops there are shortcuts; on phones and compatible Wear OS devices there are other quick-access options.
FREE VERSUS PAID
At the time of publication the Beginner plan provided 10 shared AI capture sessions per month across eligible capture tools. Pro and Business plans offered more extensive access, subject to fair use. The service needs a connection and supports many languages; current plans and local prices should be checked before subscribing.
ONE USEFUL WARNING
Capturing a task is not the same as doing it. Review your list regularly or you may simply end up with a beautifully organised monument to things you haven’t done.
